As the founder of Elite Body Data, I’ve tried my 16-Week Couples Nutrition Coaching Weight Loss Program. Since I’m currently studying to become a registered dietitian and running my business, Elite Body Data, I got insanely busy helping others, that I lost sight of my health and body. In just the first 8 weeks, with no exercise, I shed 6.2 lbs. and 3.7% body fat. .
Growing up in an African American household food was delicious, but not the most nutritious. I didn’t care about nutrition; food was a storyteller, and I looked forward to stories shared over the dinner table. Many relatives are only known to me by the food served; when I eat peach cobbler, it reminds me of my mother’s mom. When I eat my dad’s incredible Jallaf Rice, I think of my dad’s father.
Unfortunately, many of my relatives succumb to their health issues linked to their diet—obesity and heart disease, before I ever got to hear the stories from their lips, so food is the way I can honor and remember them.
In my early 20s, I was caught between wanting to be able to live long enough to share their stories through food and maintaining my weight; but little by little, macaroni and cheese and other foods were extending my mid-section.
In my late 20s, I started tracking calories, and modifying the calories of family’s favorite meals, so I can still eat them and lose weight, and I teach other busy couples what I’ve learned.
Over the last ten years, Yaa has spent time working as an in-home personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and wellness coach at a therapeutic wellness facility. After spending almost a decade working as a personal trainer providing bespoke nutrition and workout plans, she has developed a data-driven weight loss system that teaches couples how to increase their nutrition knowledge, while losing at least 12 lbs of weight in 16-weeks.
In addition to my extensive work experience, I hold a B.S in Communications from Northwestern University. I’m also currently studying to become a registered dietitian nutritionist.

This phase is so important because whether you decide to keep going on with my program or you feel like you can continue you on your own, you need to be sure you are ready for the next steps in getting the body you want.
Lastly, this wrap-up phase helps you to stop self-doubt in its tracks and gives you the confidence and determination to continue your fitness journey.
This program is 16 weeks long.
The program only works if you stay 95%+ compliant. Don’t let that number scare you, you will get continuous Marco Polo and phone support to help you stay compliant. We will have you complete a compliance tracker every week so you can stay on target. We understand you may be eager to know if your plan is working, that is why every month (LOCAL) you will come into the Elite Body Data Lab to complete a resting metabolic rate test, 3D Body Scan and body fat test. The resting metabolic rate test will help your coach design the perfect macronutrient plan and ensure you are eating the appropriate amount of calories to lose fat. The 3D body scan will show you and your coach where you are losing inches and the body fat test will illustrate how much body fat you are losing. If you are a DISTANCE client, we know these test are costly, so we’ve lowered the program cost for distance clients.
I don’t want you to fail, I could give you a plan to follow for a month, but will you really stick with it? Wouldn’t you like to know not only the HOW, but the WHY? Sure, you can follow a customized plan typed up, but part of the reason the weight piles back on or people give up too soon is because they don’t learn the importance of the HOW and the WHY.
